Victoria State Championships

A big big congratulations to Chris who went to compete at the Vic Cups 
and wiped it taking all gold medals. 
Chris won both Gi and NoGi division and both Open Gi and Open NoGi divisions, 
scoring 4 gold medals.
He scored more than 30points in two fights!

taking classes in Melbourne and got a little surprise.

Kids Class March 22, 2012

The Kids class is getting very rowdy lately, but we're loving it. We're going to need to put out a few extra rows of mats soon.

Esther got a sponsorship!

Esther got herself a sponsor, it's a Gi brand from Japan called TRIBOS.

They are a bunch of guys who pretty much grew up with Minol and they love surfing 

and Jiu-Jitsu so the brand tries to make cool Gi designs 

and now they have just arrived in Australia through us! 

They are sponsoring Esther now and the Gi's are pretty good too.

Some belts just got a bit heavier for a few. Well done to those who have put in some good solid training over the last 3 months. Keep up the dedicated effort.

Also congratulations to Jake on receiving his blue belt from Minol earlier this week. Definately well deserved.

A special mention should go out to Ian, perhaps one of the toughest guys around but also one of the nicest, always keen to help out whenever he can. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to him and his family at this time.
